This Amesbury, Massachusetts project features over 800 square feet of Azek decking, delivering a clean, modern outdoor living space built for long-term durability. Rather than starting from scratch, we reused much of the existing framing while reinforcing it with additional beams, blocking, and structural supports to ensure the deck will perform for decades to come. As with all of our projects, butyl tape was applied to the top of the framing to protect against moisture intrusion and prevent future rot.

The deck surface was finished with Azek Coastline decking, and the entire frame was wrapped in matching 1×12 Azek fascia, double stacked for a bold, seamless look. By keeping the decking, fascia, stair risers, and structural elements all in the same color, the finished space feels cohesive, sleek, and intentionally designed. Two triple-depth staircases were added to improve access and create a natural flow into the backyard, making the deck both highly functional and visually striking.
