The Candia, NH Showcase Deck was designed to push the boundaries of custom deck design through creative craftsmanship and original detailing. Built in just 11 days after months of planning, this project was created with a modern aesthetic and features design elements unlike anything we have built before. The deck combines Deckorators Khaya composite decking with Dark Slate borders, custom geometric inlays, and contemporary black aluminum railings to create a bold, architectural appearance. Throughout the project, white PVC trim contrasts against Dark Slate accents across the fascia, stair stringers, risers, and custom 8×8 columns, adding depth and dimension from every angle.

One of the deck’s standout features is its custom staircase, which incorporates more than 68 individually heat-folded composite pieces arranged in a unique two-tone pattern and finished with a picture-frame inlay. The project is further enhanced with extensive TruScapes lighting, including rail cap lights, recessed halo deck lights, stair riser lights, and up-and-down column lighting that highlights the craftsmanship after dark. Every aspect of this deck was carefully designed to create a one-of-a-kind finished product that showcases the possibilities of modern composite decking and custom outdoor construction.
