This modern 30-by-5-foot front porch was designed to enhance the home’s entrance while showcasing a collection of distinctive architectural details. The porch features a two-tone combination of Deckorators Glacier decking with Dark Slate borders and accents, creating a bold contrast that defines the structure’s clean lines. Black Deckorators cable railings maintain an open appearance, while specialty Westbury aluminum wraps were added to the 6-by-6 columns to carry the black detailing consistently throughout the design.

A custom Tru-Scapes lighting system completes the porch and highlights its modern features after dark. Column lights and stair-riser lights improve visibility and accent the structure’s details, while color-changing soffit lights allow the homeowners to customize the atmosphere for different seasons and occasions. Together, the contrasting composite decking, black cable railings, aluminum-wrapped columns, and integrated lighting create a polished, low-maintenance front porch with a dramatic and contemporary appearance.
