This custom decking project showcases a beautifully designed ground-level deck built with Trex Winchester Grey decking, selected for its modern, sleek appearance and exceptional long-term durability. The cool grey tones complement the surrounding landscape while providing a clean, contemporary finish that resists fading, staining, and moisture damage. Designed with both aesthetics and performance in mind, this low-maintenance composite decking ensures the space will continue looking great for years to come with minimal upkeep.

The overall layout was carefully planned to create a seamless transition between the home and the outdoor living area. A large, welcoming stair set anchors the design and is illuminated with Trex Riser lighting, adding both safety and visual appeal. Recessed deck lighting is thoughtfully integrated throughout the space, enhancing visibility while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere after sunset. The layered lighting design allows the homeowners to comfortably entertain, relax, and enjoy the space well into the evening.

One of the most striking features of this build is the custom spiral staircase, which provides access to the upper deck level while serving as a bold architectural focal point.
