This 12-by-32-foot deck in Kingston, NH, was designed to create a spacious outdoor living area with a distinctive two-tone appearance. The main deck surface features TimberTech Whitewashed Cedar decking, complemented by a contrasting TimberTech Ashwood border. This carefully selected color combination adds visual depth, defines the deck’s perimeter, and gives the finished space a warm, refined look that complements the home.

TimberTech Classic Composite Railings with black balusters complete the design, providing a clean contrast against the lighter decking while preserving open views of the surrounding property. One of the project’s standout details is its impressive 10-foot-long stair railings, which frame the wide staircase and create an inviting transition between the deck and yard. Together, the two-tone decking, picture-frame border, classic railing system, and extended stair rails create a durable, low-maintenance outdoor space with a unique and polished appearance.
